Key Points

  • Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, owns $7.2 million in various cryptocurrencies.
  • Trump’s most significant cryptocurrency holdings include meme coin Trog (TROG) and Ethereum (ETH).

Donald Trump, the incoming President of the United States, has disclosed that he holds $7.2 million in a range of cryptocurrencies.

Data from Arkham Intelligence indicates that as of November 25, the 47th President of the United States had digital assets in cryptocurrencies valued around $7.2 million.

Trump’s Cryptocurrency Portfolio

His most substantial cryptocurrency holding is the meme coin Trog (TROG), with 210 billion coins equivalent to $1.86 million.

TROG prices have recently surged 343% from $0.000002008 to $0.000008914 in just 24 hours.

Interestingly, Trump’s TROG holdings are greater than his Ethereum (ETH) holdings, which are valued at $1.7 million, with the average price of Ethereum being $3,401.

WETH (WETH) is the third-largest cryptocurrency in Trump’s portfolio, with 478 WETH equivalent to $1.63 million.

He also holds a million dollars worth of a themed-coin named after him, TRUMP, with 579k or equal to $1.03 million.

His portfolio mostly consists of meme coins such as GUA, TUA, PUPPIES, and CZAR.

However, Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, is not among his most significant holdings.

Trump’s Shift Towards Cryptocurrency

Despite being known as an anti-crypto figure in 2021, Trump has since become a prominent figure in the crypto industry.

During his recent election campaign, he became pro-crypto and attended the Bitcoin Conference 2024 in Nashville.

He expressed support for the pro-crypto program, including the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, which is backed by several Republican senators who have proposed the idea to Congress.

Following his re-election to the White House, Trump has selected several pro-crypto individuals for his cabinet, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Elon Musk.

He has also appointed Scott Bessent as the Secretary of Treasury, who Trump has described as the “most pro-crypto treasury we’ve ever seen”.
