I read &lt;i&gt;Bones&lt;/i&gt; a couple years ago, and didn&#039;t find the prose or the characters at quite the same level as some of Swanwick&#039;s other stuff, but I liked the premise that time-travel required everyone&#039;s consent to not screw it all up.  I thought the ending was pretty cool too.  Reminded me of something Robert Charles Wilson (one of my favorites) would do.  

The Hughart that&#039;s easy to find is &lt;i&gt;Bridge of Birds&lt;/i&gt;, which is probably slightly better than the sequel anwyway.

		<description>I really like it when you do these multiple reviews. Swanwick is great, and this is one of my favorite books of his--but have you read &lt;i&gt;Bones of the Earth&lt;/i&gt;? One of the best book endings ever. Will check out the Hughart.</description>
