David, I agree with all your points, hence the "driving while Democrat." I was just assuming the standard paranoid talking points for the sake of brevity.

A few corrections:
1) The documents that Sandy Berger handled were copies of the originals and he never touched the actual originals. What he did was certainly wrong, but no information was actually lost.
2) The CIA has admonished Weldon several times for wasting their resources following wild goose chases of informants even less reliable than CurveBall.
3) Weldon demonstrated this last month with his wild claims that Bin Laden was dead. He was told at the time his source was unreliable, and he touted the story away (until the lastest Bin Laden tape).
4) People like Clarke and McCarthy have deep knowledge of security and policy. They are clearly people that disagree with the Bush/Republican policies and prefer the Clinton/Democrat policies. They are certainly entitled to support candidates that share their view. These people were not party political activists looking for an issue, but rather experts in their field that picked candidates with whom they agree.

Does all of this fit in some way with Hillary's effort to claim the White House travel agency had committed criminal acts in order to justify their termination? I don't like that woman and, increasingly, think that anyone (Sandy Berger) associated with her or her husband (both of whom are now clearly identified as war mongers) is unworthy of trust. Not that I'm paranoid or anything...
